THE BEAR CLUB ‘21 COMEBACK SPECIAL

Forget live streaming. We’re old fashioned.

The Bear Club presents a new concert film starring the Adrian Cox Quartet. Profoundly Blue digs into the life and music of clarinetist and composer Edmond Hall, a seminal figure in the history of jazz, and Cox's personal passion project. As soon as Adrian did this show here in 2019, we knew we wanted to make a film of it, and now seemed like the perfect moment. 

Live streaming gigs during lockdown, and beyond, is something that we deeply considered over the past year. However, to do it right just isn't viable for us financially, or satisfying for us creatively. So instead, in true Bear style, we hark back to the days of the TV special, and present a 50 minute concert film that celebrates the music, the club and why we do what we do.
