Alice Armstrong is a singer-songwriter and entertainer from the UK, gaining traction like a runaway train on the British live music scene. She’s just won Contemporary Blues Artist of the Year at the UK Blues Awards, and, at the personal invite of Joe Bonamassa, played at his prestigious 'Keeping The Blues Alive' Mediterranean cruise in 2023.
Known for her impressive vocal range, unconventional lyrics, and enigmatic stage presence, Alice’s music busts the seams of traditional genres, creating a heady amalgamation of blues, soul, funk, rock, pop, and country. Her soulful, dynamic material is steeped in personal and provocative lyrical content and is served with an electric physical performance, world class musicianship, and wry British repartee.
In the last two years, Alice’s work has reached the top 20 played lists of the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association and Blues Matters Magazine. In 2023, Alice released three singles, performed and toured across Europe, and recorded and released her first solo EP.
This year has shaped up to be even more exciting, with a busy tour schedule including festival performances in the UK and across Europe. Alice has also released her second EP, Live at Area 88, during the summer.
