The Bruno D’Ambra Trio (featuring Emiliano Caroselli on drums and Jason Reyes on bass) have released their debut album ‘Vesuviana’ and are finally bringing their music to live audiences with a show packed full of hard-swinging interplay and melodic improvisations.
Originally from Italy, pianist and composer Bruno D’Ambra has been active on the UK music scene for the past 20 years. During this time, he’s forged a varied and successful career, performing and recording alongside household names (Jim Mullen, Tony Kofi and Nigel Price head up a long list).
His strong sense of melody, contemporary harmonic sensibility and a solid yet fresh rhythmic approach make up his very individual sound. His versatility and musical sensitivity have made him a much in-demand session musician across a variety of different genres, from jazz to pop.
