A powerful and raunchy rhythm & blues five-piece producing classic blues with a hint of jazz, a touch of ‘sauce’ and lots of nostalgia. The band is driven by the superb voice of Chris Lord, supported by a heady mix of tenor sax, flute and guitar, all built upon a first-class rhythm section.
Influences range from early artists like Bessie Smith, Etta James and Big Mama Thornton, to more modern exponents of the art such as Beth Hart and Dana Gillespie.
Chris is joined by Tom Domagala on tenor sax and flute, Rick Booth on guitar and vocals, Geoff Burroughs on bass and Rick Philpott on drums – all great musicians with extensive experience and an impressive musical pedigree.
