Izzie Yardley is a truly gifted singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has attracted widespread critical recognition. Possessing a simply beautiful voice and crafting detailed songs laced with imagination, emotion, and beguiling complexity, she draws on the British folk tradition with clear nods to a childhood spent listening to classical, jazz, Nick Drake, and Kate Bush.
Her publicly-funded debut EP, Imposter, was released last summer. Produced by Dom Monks (Big Thief, Billie Marten), it led to support from PRS Foundation Women in Music and Help Musicians Do it Differently.
Captivating and unfettered live performances are earning her a rapidly growing audience. Recently, she has played The Great Escape festival, opened for artists like Jesca Hoop, Supalung, Robert Vincent, Beans on Toast, and Ocean Colour Scene, and toured with Ida Mae and Matt Deighton on their UK tours.
