James Junior is a local singer, songwriter and producer of all things soulful, and we’re delighted to welcome him to The Bear to celebrate the launch of his new EP, ‘ALL IN’.
James has enjoyed a career stretching back over 15 years, during which he’s experienced the length and breadth of all the music industry has to offer; from the early years of playing local pubs and party venues, through to performing in theatres, concert venues and arena shows, as well as appearing on television and radio.
In 2015 he was the featured artist on the album 'No Turning Back' released by Speedometer, which had tracks showcased on Jazz FM and BBC Radio 6.
As a session musician he has performed with numerous acts including Sting, Muse and Thirty Seconds to Mars, and has recorded vocals for Mika and Alexis Ffrench. He has appeared on a number of TV and radio shows including The Graham Norton Show, Later With Jools Holland and BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, amongst others.
As well as singing and writing music, James also plays piano and set up ‘The Piano Singer’ in 2015, which has seen him perform all over the UK and Europe for clients such as John Lewis, Adidas, ITV, and many others.
