The Low Lamps are back…! A dynamic blues band, mostly hailing from the Southdown area of Harpenden with legendary 5th Lamp, Andy ‘Hot Gravel’ Stokes travelling down from Stafford for most gigs, to add his incredible keys and harp playing to the mix.
Their music spans various blues styles, including slide, jump, boogie, funky, Chicago, Delta, and Texas blues, delivering both danceable, energetic performances and intimate acoustic sessions. 
Known for their raucous juke-joint feel, the band often features slide guitar and groove-based jams, deliberately steering away from the typical ‘pub’ blues playbook to keep their performances fresh, engaging and surprising. This authentic approach always gets audiences on their feet during live shows.
