Bear regular and local guitar maestro Marius Ptas brings together some of the best musical talent around for a party night of jazz funk and unexpected twists.
Marius honed his skills from a young age, sharing the stage with Grammy Award-winning jazz musicians such as Wlodek Pawlik, Jim Mullen and Philip Achille.
Ptas’ career has seen him play some of the world’s finest stages and festivals, including Apollo Theatre in New York, Rockhal Area In Luxembourg, North By Northwest Philadelphia, Poland’s prestigious FAMA festival, and an impressive list of UK concerts including The O2, Isle of Wight Festival, Rhythms of the World festival, Queen Elizabeth Park Olympic Stadium and London’s famous Jazz Café.
He has supported James Arthur, Olly Murs, Laura Mvula, Ella Eyre, VV Brown and Brian McKnight, and has played multiple BBC Radio live tours and sessions.
Marius will be joined by Dom Pusey (sax), Craig Stallwood (piano), Roger Inniss (bass) and Alessandro Lombardo (drums).
