Nara Pinheiro is an award-winning Brazilian jazz musician and composer from Minas Gerais in the south-east of the country. She is a flautist and singer who has been playing her original work since 2015 at festivals, theatres, and music venues in Brazil and internationally. She represents a new generation of Brazilian women developing their own sound and leading their own artistic and cultural projects.
Together with her group, Nara has performed on important stages and festivals in Brazil, such as Instrumental SESC Brasil, Valadares Jazz Festival, Festival Jazz de Montanha, Cine Theatro Central, Circuito Sons de Minas, and Festival Fartura, among others. In 2024, she toured Europe, performing in seven countries, with highlights including the Femina Jazz Festival (Spain), Kulturhaus Insel (Germany), and Jazz Minho (Portugal).
