The Neil Angilley Trio are visiting The Bear to celebrate the recent release of their new album, ‘Yambou’, which has been featured on Worldwide FM and Jazz FM.
Pianist Neil Angilley is joined by Davide Giovannini on drums and vocals, and Davide Mantovani on bass, for a unique take on Latin Jazz - bringing you infectious rhythms from Brazil and Cuba.
The trio have worked regularly in the London Jazz scene and across the UK and their live show is spellbinding; incorporating instrumental virtuosity and three part harmony, which adds a unique dimension to the sound.
As an original member of the Grammy Nominated band, Down To The Bone, Neil has co-written and played on many of their Number 1 albums - most recently ‘The Sweetness’, which charted at Number 1 in the USA Billboard Charts for Jazz/Funk.
As well as appearing on the main stage at Glastonbury with Dame Shirley Bassey, Neil has also performed with Vanessa-Mae, Maceo Parker, Roy Hargrove, Snowboy & The Latin Section, Lionel Richie, Lisa Stansfield and Gentle Giant, amongst many others.
