Partikel are celebrating their ten year anniversary with the release of their fifth studio album, with prestigious German-based label Berthold Records.
During their ten years together, they have performed their unique brand of intensely melodic and highly interactive music all over the globe. Recent concerts include Vancouver Jazz Festival, Shanghai Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival.
Their music seamlessly fuses together music from Brazil and West Africa with jazz and western concepts, creating a sound that is unique to these three experienced musicians. Their most recent album was nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz Award, alongside Phronesis and Binker and Moses.
