Partikel takes a unique and fresh look at the saxophone trio format, and their exciting live performances have led to them being dubbed as one of the hottest young bands on the UK scene.
The trio has forged a strong reputation, and their fourth studio album was nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz Award, alongside Phronesis and Binker and Moses. They celebrated their ten year anniversary with the release of their latest album, Anniversary Song, which has received excellent reviews.
Partikel have performed their unique brand of intensely melodic and highly interactive music all over the globe - recent concerts include Vancouver Jazz Festival, Shanghai Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival.
