Singer-songwriter and pianist Pokkisham spins stories around everyday life, challenges and love, showcased through beautiful arrangements that take you on a journey where each story suddenly feels like your own.
Her songwriting accesses a wide variety of styles from jazz and soul to folk and spoken word, allowing the stories and sounds to ‘take flight’.
Her latest single releases have received attention and praise from radio stations and critics, including BBC Introducing and Jazz FM. Her next single Cages is due for release in November, with her full EP to follow early 2023.
Pokkisham and her band, featuring bassist Jason Walsh and drummer Jimmy Norden, together bring forth a real sense of working camaraderie, trust and openness with room for improvisation and fun.
