We’re excited to welcome Quentin Moore to The Bear for some sweet midweek soul music. This multi-instrumentalist is a sexy prototype for neo-retro soul music, with roots in Austin, Texas. He’s shared the stage with icons such as Anthony Hamilton, Gary Clark Jr. and Robert Glasper, and recently collaborated with Snoop Dogg on his hit single ‘BFU Remix.’
Quentin is a powerful 21st century soul figure who grew up playing drums and keys in church, with early influences from traditional and contemporary gospel. His parents turned him onto 70s soul and funk, and 60s doo-wop, then jazz, fusion and world music quickly followed.
He is renowned for creating rhythmic performances that captivate, and has built a reputation for involving his audience - using them as a choir, taking a famous crowd selfie, and chatting to everyone after the show.
