Ray Gelato, The Godfather of Swing and multi-talented singer, saxman, songwriter and band leader, has been taking his special brand of jazz and R&B music all over the world since 1988.
Ray and his band have enjoyed an illustrious and successful career, including a long-established residency at Ronnie Scott’s, where they perform a sell-out event every Christmas.
Ray has performed twice for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, opened for Robbie Williams at Royal Albert Hall, and played at Sir Paul McCartney’s wedding. In addition, the band have played most of the top jazz festivals, including Montreal International Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Centre and Umbria Jazz Festival. Ray has also played some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, including Birdland Jazz Club and Blue Note Milano.
