Former child prodigy, soul blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Reggie King Sears is back with a new album, aptly titled Back In The Game. This record expands on his signature down-home blues, rhythm & blues and Southern soul sound with deeper funk and neo soul grooves.
Reggie has spent most of his life as a professional musician, becoming a mainstay on the blues circuit and receiving praise and respect from legends and contemporaries alike.
He paid his dues by touring the South's so-called Chitlin’ Circuit of ghetto bars, juke joints and blues festivals, and became a bona fide entertainer capable of dazzling audiences with his guitar skills, soulful vocals, natural stage presence and showmanship.
He became an honorary member of The James Brown Band when he was just fifteen years old, and over the next five years he released four albums, won multiple music awards and racked up thousands of miles on the road.
Reggie has topped the Southern soul radio charts with ‘Dip My Dipper’, ‘You Betrayed Me’ and ‘Dirty Dancer’, and has shared the stage with a host of legends, including Buddy Guy, Solomon Burke, Pinetop Perkins, The Temptations, G. Love and Special Sauce and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.
This should be a special night.
