Welcome back to London-based Reiss Ellis Beckles - a dynamic saxophonist and composer. He epitomises versatility and diversity, seamlessly traversing genres with finesse and flair.
Reiss honed his craft in jazz performance and composition at the esteemed Trinity Laban Conservatoire Of Music and Dance. He then ventured across the pond to New York's Aaron Copland School Of Music, Queens College, where he studied under the mentorship of luminaries such as Antonio Hart, Jeb Patton, and David Berkman.
Throughout his career, Reiss has graced stages alongside a constellation of stars, including Halsey, Jessie J, and Robin Thicke, while sharing musical wisdom with legends like Jimmy Heath and John Faddis.
From the intimate ambiance of Smalls Jazz Club in New York to the iconic stages of Ronnie Scott’s and sold out performances at The Vortex in London, Reiss's performances have captivated audiences worldwide.
Beyond his prowess as a performer, Reiss is a dedicated educator, nurturing the next generation of musical talents and imparting invaluable wisdom to aspiring musicians.
Reiss will be joined by Torin Davies (guitar), Rowan Hudson (piano), Tom Rivière (double bass), and Mark Andrew Hale (drums).
