We are delighted to welcome Sultan Stevenson, the recent winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Best Newcomer, back to The Bear. His gig here in July was one of the highlights of last year, and the intimate surroundings of the club provide the perfect setting to experience his up-close and personal compositions.
An accomplished pianist, Sultan is one of the fastest-emerging young artists on the London jazz scene. His trio is already established as a must-see live act and is being tipped for success on both national and international stages.
Sultan is an alumnus of the legendary Tomorrow’s Warriors jazz collective and he graduated from the Guildhall School of Music last summer. He is already an integral part of the South London scene and is tipped for even greater things in the future.
