BBC Introducing artist & backing singer to the stars, Tremaine Dawkins is performing with her band, appropriately-enough on Valentine’s Night, as part of her 'Something About Love' album release tour.
This, her second release, is a beautifully, eclectic blend of jazz, soul & gospel music, centred around the theme of love. Her influences range from Stevie Wonder to Kate Bush & Sade, yet she still manages to carve out her own unique sound.
Tremaine's impressive vocal range, velvet tones, electrifying improvisations & audience interaction make for an exhilarating yet intimate live show.
Her debut album 'But for the Grace of God' was released in 2016, which revealed her as 'one to watch'.
Tremaine's musical CV includes touring with disco legends Odyssey, singing with & directing the CK Gospel Choir & providing backing for Beverley Knight & Mica Paris.
