Wild Card is a London-based nu jazz combo led by French guitarist Clement Regert, with British drummer Sophie Alloway and organist / keyboardist Chris Bland.
Their signature blend of Afro, samba, reworked pop tunes and hard bop numbers is very popular amongst clubs and European jazz festivals. The music is dynamic, exuberant and flamboyant - appealing to jazz fans and more mainstream music lovers alike.
Over the past few years, the band have recorded and collaborated with three Grammy Award winners, two Grammy Award nominees, one Mercury Prize winner, one MOBO winner and two MOBO nominees.
