Deep Six Blues are a 5-piece Blues and Americana band from Humberside. The band was formed in 2022 by singer songwriter Si Vix, a blues obsessive who recruited members of the local jazz and blues scene to play and record what he calls the ‘Humber Delta blues’.
The band have toured extensively with shows in the UK and Europe including notable performances at the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival.
They released their first EP ‘Big River’ in 2023 and in April 2024 this was followed by their debut album ‘The Devil’s Hand’ which made the UK IBBA top 20.
With songs based on spellbinding guitar riffs, driving bass lines, wailing harmonica and impassioned vocals that pay homage to heroes like Howlin’ Wolf and Robert Johnson, Deep Six Blues is a live experience not to be missed.
