Dom Martin is a Belfast-born multi-award-winning artist, inspired by (but not constrained by) the blues. In 2019, he burst onto the music scene with a unique guitar style and voice, captivating audiences everywhere.
Last year, Dom released his sophomore studio album, A Savage Life, to rave reviews in the blues press. He was nominated across an unprecedented five categories at The UK Blues Awards 2022 (Blues Vocalist of The Year, Best Album of The Year, Best Blues Band of The Year, Blues Instrumentalist of The Year and Acoustic Blues Artist of The Year), with Dom lifting the last two and playing at the awards ceremony in London.
This unassuming musician is another fine product of the famous Belfast music factory responsible for Sir Van Morrison, Gary Moore, Paul Brady, Brian Kennedy and many more.
His power trio is always an extremely popular addition to any blues/rock festival, and Dom always likes to include a Rory Gallagher song or two amongst his originals as he strives to “keep Rory’s music alive”.
