Bringing together four globally established jazz musicians, Sean Fyfe leads a fiery quartet delivering a powerful sound which has captivated audiences across the UK over the past two years.
Sean is an established and talented Canadian jazz pianist who has lived and performed professionally in New York, London and Montreal. He has appeared on recordings with Sam Kirmayer and Al McLean, developing his own following which led him to release his debut recording as a leader, Late Night (2022).
In addition to being a regular on the international touring circuits, Sean has sold out notable London venues, including Pizza Express Jazz Club, The Junction and Oliver’s Jazz Bar, as well as performances at distinguished North American venues including Mezzrow Jazz Club, Yardbird Suite, Upstairs Jazz Club, Dièse Onze, Fat Cat, Frankie’s Jazz Club and Hermann’s Jazz Club.
Sean’s impressive technique and command of the piano draws heavily on the music of Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly and Cedar Walton. He is joined by Dave O’Higgins (tenor saxophone), Matt Fishwick (drums) and Luke Fowler (bass).
Following on from the success of his debut album, Sean is releasing his much anticipated follow up, which features his original music as well as cleverly arranged standard repertoire. A show not to be missed!
