THE RABBITTS

We’re really pleased to welcome this genre-blending indie folk band to The Bear Club for what promises to be an evening of beautiful, hypnotic music.

The Rabbitts have been described as "ethereal and understated" on BBC Radio 6 Music and their unique and colourful sound is characterised by delicate harmonies and an intricately interwoven tapestry of mandolin, guitar, bass, and drums. It’s a pretty, delicate, warm sound (which has been described as “like a long hug on a summer’s day”!). Lucy’s crisp sometimes soaring vocals, recalling early Kate Bush (with a bit of Vashti Bunyan), blend beautifully with the voice of the other singer in the band, Odhran whose deeper, darker brown tones recall a touch of Tim Buckley or Fred Neil.

The Norwich-based band started 2024 with a full-band tour of the UK and have new music on the horizon. This will follow on from their 2023 album 'Love' which was described as "intricate, lush and completely captivating" by Podcart. They are an ever evolving group who are constantly creating and rarely staying still.

The Rabbitts approach folk and indie from an almost experimental perspective, drawing from other genres with ease.
