THE RABBITTS

We’re really pleased to welcome this genre-blending indie folk band to The Bear for an evening of beautiful and hypnotic music.

The Rabbitts’ unique and colourful sound is characterised by delicate harmonies and an intricately interwoven tapestry of mandolin, guitar, bass, and drums. It’s a pretty, delicate, and warm sound, which has been described as feeling “like a long hug on a summer’s day.”

Lucy’s crisp, sometimes soaring vocals recall early Kate Bush, with a bit of Vashti Bunyan. They blend beautifully with the voice of Odhran, the other singer in the band, whose deeper, darker brown tones recall a touch of Tim Buckley or Fred Neil.

This Norwich-based band kicked off last year with a full-band tour of the UK, and have new music on the horizon. They are an ever-evolving group who are constantly creating and rarely staying still.

The Rabbitts approach folk and indie from an almost experimental perspective, drawing from other genres with ease
