“These guys are the rock fans favourite blues band, and the blues fans favourite rock band”. So read a review of Thr3e’s debut album, 30 Day Hop, and the band could not have put it any better themselves.
Bringing powerhouse blues and rock with a hint of Southern boogie, Thr3e’s songs are full of hot riffs and performed with energy, feeling and passion. Their style is firmly rooted in 60s/70s British blues, but with influences ranging widely from Americana, hard rock and the old blues originals.
Thr3e do not try to fit into any genre - they just write great songs and play them from the heart. Twin guitarists bouncing licks off each other, pumped by a driving rhythm section, with tight vocal harmonies to boot. If you like it bluesy and hard-edged, but still musical, then you’ll love this!
Their second album, Hey, Mr. Bartender, was released in April 2019 to rave reviews, and their upcoming third album is due for release later this year.
Thr3e have played at The Great British Rock & Blues Festival, HRH Blues, Lincoln Blues Festival and Cambridge Rock Festival, and have headlined at the iconic 100 Club in London. They have secured great reviews in the rock and blues media through some raucous audience reactions, and made many new friends and fans through their music and performances.
