POLLY PAULUSMA

Polly Paulusma (pronounced Paul’s Ma!) is a superb English singer-songwriter who plays beautiful songs about life, love, loss, and all that good stuff.

She has supported artists such as Bob Dylan, Jamie Cullum, Coldplay, Marianne Faithfull, and The Divine Comedy. Joining Polly is double-bass player Jon Thorne (best known for Indian-folk-jazz fusion band Yorkston/Thorne/Khan).

The musical connection between Polly and Jon is something to behold. Together, they combine bawdy humor and anecdotes with extraordinary songs, leading their audiences on a journey filled with laughter and tears.

They will be playing songs from Polly’s back catalogue and her new double album, Wildfires—a terrific extended piece of work that showcases her exceptional talent.

We love this and we think you’ll love this too…

The finest young British female singer-songwriter to emerge over the last 12 months
— UNCUT, 2004
In many ways a love letter to love itself in its different forms and a reminder to not waste our time on unproductive anger and things that don’t ultimately matter; this album is the work of a master songsmith
— KLOF Mag, 2022
Her misty blue voice is bewitching... it cracks ever so slightly and beautifully when it swoops to the summit of her impressive range
— The Scotsman, 2023
